Yes. Moves don't always wrap up exactly on schedule, and Nice Totes' rental terms are built with that in mind.
How to Extend Your Rental
Email us before your Return Due Date to add additional weeks at your package's per-week rate. It's a simple request, not a renegotiation — as long as you reach out before the original pickup date, extending is straightforward.
What Extending Actually Costs
Each package has its own per-additional-week rate, generally scaling with the size of the package — so a Studio extension costs less than extending a 5 Bedroom package. Your confirmation email includes the exact per-week rate for your specific package.
What Happens If You Don't Request an Extension in Time
Your Rental Term runs from the scheduled delivery date to the scheduled pickup date. If totes aren't ready for pickup on the agreed date and no extension has been arranged ahead of time, additional rental fees may apply for each extra day or week the totes remain in your possession. Reaching out before the Return Due Date avoids that entirely.
Extensions Are Subject to Availability
Because totes get scheduled for other customers' deliveries, extensions are granted subject to availability — which is one more reason to request one as soon as you know you'll need extra time, rather than waiting until the last day.
Already have totes and need to extend? Reach out directly.
Email UsThe Short Version
Extending is easy — just email before your Return Due Date and pay your package's per-week rate for the extra time. Reach out as early as possible, since extensions depend on tote availability.
